The Town of Agawam and Agawam Public Schools will be
upgrading their phone systems between February 3 and February 14. Please
be advised that brief outages may occur as the phone systems are
upgraded. If you dial a Town or School number and receive an out of
service message please try to call again in 5 or 10 minutes.
The Agawam Early Childhood Center is an integrated preschool program for three-five year-old children.
We meet the needs of children with and without disabilities and follow a developmentally appropriate curriculum where all children learn through play and hands on activities.
Children may be put on our waiting list when they reach the age of 2 years, nine months.
Our programs run from Monday to Thursday for two and 3/4 hours.
Our morning session runs from 8:35 to 11:15 a.m. and our afternoon session runs from 12:15 to 2:55 p.m.
We offer two day am (M/W or T/Th) or four day am/pm programs.
For the 2011-2012 school year, tuition is $150.00 per month for the four-day program and $75.00 per month for the two day program.
Children with disabilities who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) are not charged tuition.
We provide high quality educational experiences for children based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and research on how young children learn.
We support and promote family education that builds on and enhances family strengths and facilitates active family involvement in their child's learning.
