Checkout limits by grade: Kindergarten - 1 book
1st Grade - 2 books
2nd, 3rd, 4th - 3 books
Overdue Book Policy
Overdue Notices are printed on Friday mornings. If a book is more than one month overdue, a notice will be mailed home. The student's library privileges are suspended until the book is returned or payment is made.
Birthday Book Club
Granger School has a special way of honoring a student's birthday. When you receive the Birthday Board notice, a list of books will be attached. If you are interested, return the birthday book form and a check for the amount indicated payable to Granger School PTO. The book will be stamped with the child's name and your child will be the first person to be able to check the book out of the library. This is a great way for your child to leave a remembrance at Granger School.

Accelerated Reader
The Accelerated Reader program is used to test students' comprehension of books they have read. Granger School Library books are marked with the reading level so that students can choose an appropriate level book. Tests may only be taken at school.
Students may now search our catalog from home by clicking on the tree icon above. You then need to click on Granger School; no password is needed. To search for Accelerated Reader books, click on "Reading Program" in the green box, and select "Accelerated Reader". You may then limit your search to the appropriate reading level. This is a great tool to help them keep reading and stay interested in the books they read. They can then write down the name of the book and the library staff will assist them in finding the book the next time they are in the library.
