District Wide Support Team

Agawam’s District Wide Support Team originated at Agawam High School during the 2005-2006 school year as a means of providing assistance, information, and support to students with alcohol and drug-related problems. The Superintendent of Schools serves as the team’s facilitator and members include administrators, teachers, parents, school adjustment counselors, school committee members, community representatives, school nurse, school resource officer, and community agency members. The District Wide Support Team will be expanded in the 2007-2008 school year to include grades K-8. Meetings will be held monthly at each school beginning at 7:30 a.m. and concluding at 8:30 a.m. The District Wide Support Team Schedule is posted on our website. These meetings are open to the public and all interested parties are invited to attend.
