8th Grade (High School) Course Selection Process, Spring, 2011

Wednesday, February 16th, 6:30 pm at the High School, Course selection presentation for 8th grade parents in the HS auditorium

Thursday, February 17th, A period, during the school day, Ms. Galereave presents course selection PowerPoint to 8th graders

Friday, February 18th, "Course Selection Day" at the Junior High.  Students will get their Program of Studies and Course Selection Sheets in homeroom.  Students take their selection sheet to their classes where teachers initial their course level recommendations.

Friday, March 4rd, Course Selection sheets (with parents' signatures) are due to Ms. Burns-Curran for her review

 Work Permit Application

During the school year the work permit can be filled out by a school counselor.

During the summer, if the counselors are not in, the work permit application can be brought

to the main office along with the student's birth certificate to be signed.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

 

Please call the Counseling Office and schedule an appointment to register a new student. The following information is needed upon registration:

 

  Medical Records – Physicals and Immunizations

  Birth Certificate

  Proof of address in Agawam – Address verification see Requirements

  Prior school records:

        1. School Transfer/Sign-out with grades: download transfer/withdrawal form

        2. Academic Transcript/most recent report card

        3. Discipline Records/Reports

        4. Any Special Education Information with copy of Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.)

  Court/Legal guardian ship/custody documents (if applicable)

  MCAS scores (if applicable)

  SASID (if applicable)
