HUMAN RELATIONS EDUCATION

We live in a pluralistic society which is itself one nation in a diverse world community. Our society will be enhanced by the knowledge and understanding we have of other peoples and cultures. Recognizing this, the schools will provide an opportunity for students to learn about, respect, and get along with people who think, dress, and act differently. The changes taking place throughout the world will also be examined to give students the opportunity to understand the political, economic, and social patterns of other cultures.
