NO SMOKING POLICY

No person shall smoke in any school building or in any building or part of a building under the jurisdiction of the School Committee.

Any person aggrieved by the willful failure or refusal to comply with any provisions of this policy may complain in writing to the Superintendent of Schools who shall respond, in writing, within 15 days to the complainant that he/she has inspected the area described in the complaint and has enforced the provisions of this policy. The Superintendent of Schools shall file a copy of the original complaint and his/her responses thereto with the Department of Public Health and local Board of Health.

There are no designated smoking areas in any of the public schools during or after school hours.
