FOOD SERVICES MANAGEMENT

The Agawam school system will operate a school lunch program in each school under the supervision of a supervisor of food services.

The School Committee will approve the prices set for school lunches and the price of milk.

As required for participation in the National School Lunch, School Breakfast, and Special Milk Programs, the School Committee agrees to the following measures:

1. That a "Type A" lunch program will be made available to students.

2. That free and reduced-price lunches will be provided to students who qualify for them.

Students will be permitted to bring their lunches from home and to purchase beverages and incidental items.
