BUDGETING SYSTEM

The annual budget shall be prepared in a format consistent with the accounting classifications established by the Massachusetts Department of Education.

The School Committee shall strive to explain budget requests in ways that will permit the public and City officials to see a clear relationship between educational programs and the expenditures required to carry them out.
