SCHOOL BUILDING ADMINISTRATION
Each school in the system will have a building principal who will act as the chief administrative officer of his/her own building.
The principal is charged with the supervision and direction of the staff and the students assigned to the building and with the care of the school facility and its equipment. The principal will see that rules and regulations of the district, the directives of its officers, and the guidelines for the instructional program are observed. Within the framework of the policies of the Committee and the general rules and regulations set by the Superintendent, the principal may establish regulations for the efficient operation of the school.
