VOTING METHOD
Except on procedural matters, all votes of the School Committee shall be taken by a call of the roll and the yeas and nays shall be recorded in the journal, provided, however, that if the vote is unanimous only that fact need be recorded.
All actions will require a majority vote of the members present and voting except as state law, Robert’s Rules of order, Revised or policies of this Committee require a larger majority. A majority of the members of the School Committee shall constitute a quorum.
The School Committee requires a majority vote of its full membership in the following matters:
1. A change in salaries of teachers or other employees.
2. Making expenditures in excess of $3,000 which have not been previously approved within a cost cent
3. The appointment of the Superintendent.
4. Changes in School Committee policies.
