SUBCOMMITTEES OF THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE

Special subcommittees for the consideration or investigation of certain problems will be appointed by the Chairperson or upon motion of the School Committee or will be appointed by the Committee itself, if a majority so directs. Such subcommittees may advise and recommend to the full School Committee but may never determine policy nor discharge administrative duties.

The Superintendent of Schools will be an ex-officio member of each subcommittee, except any which deal with his/her employment status.

The Chairperson of the School Committee will be an ex-officio member of all subcommittees.
