Director for Finance and H/R, Patricia, (Patti) A. Cavanaugh, holds a bachelor degree from AIC in Springfield and an MBA from U-Mass, Amherst. Prior to coming to the Agawam Public Schools, Miss Cavanaugh worked for the Holyoke Public Schools in many capacities, the latest being Executive Director for Finance and Operations.  Miss Cavanaugh is licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as both a School Business Official and Assistant Superintendent.  She is also licensed from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Officer, MCPPO. She is a member of the Massachusetts Association of School Business Officials, the Association of School Business Officials International, and the Massachusetts Association of Pupil Transportation. 

Her vision for the Finance and Human Resource department is to not only provide resources to meet the Districts’ goals but also to act as a resource for the employees of the Agawam Public Schools.
